Insurance Claims
 
As your Independent Broker, we'll be there for you in the event of a claim to advise you and assist you in dealing with the insurance company. We encourage you to contact our office first with the details and discuss your situation with one of our brokers directly. However, if you need emergency service on a holiday or after business hours, you can contact your insurance company directly at the number listed below.

Automobile Claims:
Unfortunately accidents can happen. Contact any emergency services needed. If possible, get a description of any other vehicle involved in the accident (year, make and model); get the names, drivers license number and contact information of other party(s) involved and their insurance information (company and policy #). It is also very important to get the names and contact information of any witnesses to the incident.

Property Claims:
Loss or damage of your property can be devastating. Following an occurrence, please take the necessary steps to prevent any further damage (eg, securing broken windows or doors). Do not discard any damaged property as the insurance company adjuster will need to see all of the damage in order to settle your claim.

THE CLAIMS PROCESS
  • In the unfortunate event of a claim, please report it to our office as soon as possible
  • We will report the claim to the insurance company.
  • The insurance company then assigns a case file adjuster and takes over the handling of the claim.
  • The adjuster will contact you to evaluate the loss, discuss your coverage, and arrange to get your claim settled as quickly as possible. They will also keep you informed of the progress of the claim.
  • If at anytime you have concerns regarding the handling of your claim, please contact our office directly so that we may address the issues in a timely manner.
